We are delighted to have Lina on the cover of this week’s issue of ShowScene!

As a breeder/owner, it is very exciting to be a part of Lina’s unforgettable journey.

Lina is a daughter out of our famous MBIS MBISS Can GChEx Am GCh Vetset Kate Winsit “Kate” bred to our BIS Can Am Ch Vetset Counting Stars “Rion”. Her pedigree is a culmination of multiple generations of Vetset BIS and BISS winners as well as renowned American and European MBIS winners.

MBIS MBISS CAN GCHEX & AM GCH Vetset Kate Winsit, PCA AOM 2013

Very much like her mother, Lina is well constructed and true to her breed standard. She has a beautiful outline with proper proportions, outstanding front assembly balanced by a strong angulated rear, excellent reach and drive with correct carriage, very good coat and texture and she loves to show! If that is not enough, Lina is incurably happy and never has a bad day. Everyone is her friend and she never forgets a face.

She has been shown to absolute perfection by Sarah Drake (and assisted by Sara Larocque). Words could not adequately express how incredibly appreciative we are of her great dedication to coat care and conditioning, outstanding presentation and professional ethics.

Lina started her show career in the U.S. obtaining both of her majors from the 6-9 puppy class. Many thanks to Brian Meyer and Doug Gaudin for appreciating Lina at such a young age.

She completed her Canadian championship as a senior puppy and her American Championship at 14 months of age, both with multiple group placements.
By 15 months of age she won her first Best in Specialty at the Ottawa Valley Poodle Specialty under Kristi Francis. Sparingly shown the rest of 2017 she won 13 groups and 10 other placements and finished the year as #6 Standard Poodle.

Lina started 2018 off with a bang in the US winning a Group 1st. Thank you Jon Cole. In 3 weekends with multiple Group placements, she needed only 1 more major to complete her American Grand Championship.
Upon returning to Canada she continued in her winning ways.

She was awarded:
91 Group Firsts
23 Best in Shows
21 Reserve Best in Shows
Multiple Specialty Shows
The Poodle Club of Canada National Specialty

She completed 2018 as:
#1 Standard Poodle
#1 Non- Sporting Dog
#5 All Breed Dog

2019 has been very exciting to date.

Lina has been awarded:
73 Group Firsts
18 Best in Shows
17 Reserve Best in Shows
Multiple Specialty and Limited Breed shows

She is currently:
#1 Standard Poodle
#1 Non-Sporting Dog
#4 All Breed Dog

We are humbled and ever grateful to all the domestic and international judges who have appreciated our Lina from her puppy career to her current campaign at 3 years of age and awarded her so highly.
We are thrilled that several of these judges have also awarded her dam and sire.

To date she has been awarded:
180 Group Firsts
41 Best in Shows
38 Reserve Best in Shows
Multiple Specialty and Ltd Breed Shows

We are incredibly proud of Lina and Sarah for achieving this and excited to see what the future holds!
