8 Ball is at the top of her game in both Canada & the USA, she is the winningest Black Shar-Pei in history, in both Countries!

Her Canadian Accomplishments to date:
She began her show career as a baby puppy and was awarded: 
7 Best Baby Puppy in Shows
She went on to win
9 Best Puppy in Show awards

She received her first Reserve Best in Show at only 11 months old by Judge Joy Lynn Huntley. 

 Still at under a year old 8 Ball and Will Alexander received her first Best in Show from Judge Gloria Geringer.

She ended 2018 in Canada by setting a new record, she accumulated the most points in a single year for the breed.

2019 began with the retirement of our handler William Alexander, and introducing Hailey Griffith as our handler in Canada. Hailey has become a wonderful team member with her professionalism each and every time she enters the ring, and most important to us, our dogs love her and respond so beautifully to her in the ring.

She has been shown 7 weekends in Canada in 2019 and has been awarded:

8 Ball accomplishments in the USA
2018
8 Ball earned her American Championship undefeated with all majors at the regional show the week of the Chinese Shar-Pei Club of America Nationals week. She was Best of Winners at the Regional over 80 Shar-Pei entries, our thanks to breeder judge Karen Kleinhans.
She won an Award of Merit at the National Specialty as a move up from the classes under judge Vicki Abbott.
On to the Berkshire Specialty with Tammy to win the Specialty over many in her breed then, Will Alexander and 8 Ball, were awarded a beautiful Best of Breed win over many specials in Orlando in December.

2019
Tammy and 8 Ball win another Shar-Pei Specialty in Michigan, followed by an Award of Merit at Westminster.

In April at the Cherry Blossom cluster, 8 Ball and Tammy are awarded the Non-Sporting Group Specialty under judge Beverly Capstick.

We have been recently notified that 8 Ball has qualified during 2018, for the Nationals Top 25 in 2019 we are over the moon proud!

8 Ball was awarded her first American BIS at the Chambersburg Kennel Club under Judge Carole Brown. Together 8 Ball and Tammy have been awarded many Best in Shows Owner Handled, and are currently ranked #2 in the Owner Handled series.

She is currently ranked #7 Shar-Pei (All Breed System)

We can’t thank the judges enough for recognizing how special our black beauty is, and we couldn’t be prouder of all she has achieved at 2 years of age. She loves to show whether Hailey, Tammy, or John have her lead. Like fine wine she will only get better!!! As judge Gloria Geringer said, you know when you have a “great one”.
