The Samoyed is a medium sized endurance trotter Spitz breed who should be just off square; possess more bone than expected in a dog of this size; carry a double stand-off weather resistant coat; sport 55% leg length and possess the famous “Sammy Smile”.

In a breed which can have wide type and size swings varying from the Wolf to Keeshond types and everything in between, we feel that Striker is a rare quality Samoyed exemplifying correct International breed type, strong movement and outstanding temperament.

With all the attributes of a top player in limited showing to date he has regularly been recognized and highly rewarded by judges from all over the world, and is comfortable competing with the best wherever our travels take us. We have plans to present him to the fancy in 2019.

“Striker” has Star-Power even as a baby debuting with back-to-back Best Baby Puppy in Show awards under Michael Leonard from Ireland and Breeder-Judge Wendy Paquette.   Both judges have gone on to give Striker highly competitive Group wins at the Aurora and Caledon shows late last year when they had him again as a 2 year old.

At just 10 months old, Striker quickly earned his Canadian Championship, was awarded his first all-breed Best in Show, as well as his first Specialty winning the Northern Ontario Working Dog Association show, along with his Canadian “Grand” Championship.  He has gone on to win numerous Working Group limited shows in 2017 and 2018 in Southern Ontario.

While still a puppy, we then ventured to the US where Striker quickly completed his American Championship and Grand.  He also won several large breeds in the US on supported entry/specialty weekends.

Back in Canada as a yearling in limited showing Striker has accrued multiple Best in Shows, Reserve Best in Show and Working Group limited shows in 2017 and 2018 in Southern Ontario.

He finished 2018 As:
Canada’s #1 Samoyed
#3 Working Dog

We are most proud of his Specialty record in 2018:

BISS Samoyed Association of Canada Regional (Quebec)
BISS Western Samoyed Club (British Columbia)
BISS Samoyed Club of Ontario (Ontario)

Judge: Dr. Elliot More

We would like to thank Susan Coulson for all of her hard work and dedication presenting Striker almost right up until her beautiful baby Lincoln was born last March.

Striker is also a very healthy dog with the following credentials:
Hips: OFA Good
Eyes: CAER Normal + gonioscopy
Cardiac: OFA Clear
Familial Enamel Hypoplasia: Noncarrier
AKC DNA Profile

As a producer Striker has us excited with some very nice puppies from his first litters like “Mr. Big” with multiple Best Puppy in Shows in his first 2 weekends out, “Madonna” Best of Breed at her first show and awarded Best Puppy in Group, along with some little ones still in the whelping box that we are very excited about.

We are very excited to welcome Correen Pacht & Marc Ralsky to Striker’s team. Correen and Marc are no strangers to top winning working dogs. Having owned Canada’s all time Top Winning Siberian Husky, Multi BIS BISS Ch. Karnovanda Niklas Wolf. ‘Niklas” was shown by Colin Brownlee. Along with the top Best in Show Winning Siberian Husky in AKC history, Multi BIS BISS GCHP Nanooks This Girl Is On Fire. ”Amaze” was shown by Laura King and Robin Novack.

As his breeder owner handler, I look forward to presenting our Lucky Strike to the Canadian fancy before he departs to be shown by Laura King and Robin Novack in the USA.
