Michael Hill of Akarana Pekingese is please to present to the fancy Pekingese, Multi BIS RBIS UK & CAN & AM CH. Pekehuis Shazam who is informally known as Toby.
Bred by the well-known and respected Pekehuis kennel of Mr. John Shaw and Ms. Winifred Mee in the UK, Toby was just 13 months of age when he was awarded his first Challenge Certificate along with Best in Show at the London & Reform Pekingese Championship Show. Six months later he gained his UK Championship title.
His first show in Canada was in mid- May of 2018, and he was shown a total of 7 weekends resulting in him being awarded.

Toby achieved his American Championship with 4 majors, and was awarded by breeder and toy specialist judges, Two Toy Group Firsts and a Group Second.
Toby’s important breed virtues are no accident, they are the result of the 80 years Pekehuis has been breeding important champions, nearly all are among his ancestors.
I would like to thank his breeders for sharing him with me, and enabling me to have him seen in North America.
