The Canadian Kennel Club has announced an additional avenue in which one can qualify an exhibit for CRUFTS, the largest benched dog show in the world.
The Renaissance Dog Association Show held in Chilliwack, B.C. on April 14, 2018 has been designated as a qualifying show for Crufts 2019.
The qualifying show for Crufts 2018 was Club Canin Chomedey Inc held on Saturday Sept 16 2017.
Qualifying shows are in addition to the regular system, which remains unchanged. That system is as follows:
- The top five dogs from each breed according to the Dogs in Canada Top Show Dog point system
- Best of Breed, Best of Opposite, Select Dog, Select Bitch and Award of Merit Winners at the National Specialties agreed by the Canadian Kennel Club.
